Campers
completing grades six and seven participate in the Tzofim (scouts)
program. The Tzofim group is given the most freedom to choose
daily activities. Afternoon's are dedicated to letting them
choose the activities they enjoy.
Tzofim
is highlighted by the extended camping trips each session.The
Tzofim trips visit a variety of Minnesota state parks and
other area summer camps. Sites are equipped with indoor accomodations
and offer a wide variety of activities. The 2009 Tzofim trips
will be to:

- All
trips depart on Monday morning and return on Thursday afternoon.
- Campers
will sleep in cabins with staff present.
- All
food, activities and transportation will be provided. All
food served will be certified kosher or vegetarian.
- Camp
Butwin ensures Red Cross certified lifeguards for all aquatic
activities.
These
trips are an integral part of the Tzofim program. Alternative
day care will not be provided for those choosing to not participate.
