Sabra- Completing 1st Grade

• Schedules geared to high energy and quickly developing age group.
• Participate in all camp activities.
• Swim lessons 4 times a week.
• One undernight (extended evening) per session, with dinner cook-out.
• One 1/2 day field trip each session.

Campers completing 1st grade participate in the Sabra (an Israeli Pioneer) program. This program is perfect for campers who are ready to try new things. Sabra campers get to experience everything Butwin has to offer. It is a great transition to the overnight camping experiences that come in the K'far, Kibbutz, and Tzofim programs.

The Sabra field trips are to local , lakes, beaches,wildlife preserves and the zoo. All trips depart from camp after the morning attendance and flag raising and return to camp for lunch.

The Undernight is a chance to spend the evening at camp using the pool, riding horses and enjoying the Butwin facilities. A cookout dinner will be provided. All campers return to the St. Paul JCC at 8pm.
